They Sing up on the Hill

Od is a successful pop-singer in the thriving and musically diverse Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. But his ego is getting in his way and he has lost any feeling for the music he sings. Then he meets Geegee, who works as a simultaneous translator for international business meetings, but who is truly a bright-hearted singer.

Geegee tries to reconnect Od with their community heritage – in the end it will be a traditional song that leads him to forge a new, modern sound in touch with the traditions of the city.
